If someone is in immediate danger, call 999. To report child sexual abuse imagery you have seen anywhere online, you can also report it to the Internet Watch Foundation.

How we keep guest content safe

  • Photos guests share are checked automatically for unsafe content before they appear. Anything flagged is held back for the couple to review, and video messages wait for the couple's approval. See how the check works.
  • Couples can hide or delete anything guests post and block people from posting. Anything reported by several guests is hidden automatically until the couple reviews it.
  • Anyone can report a guest photo or guestbook note with the flag button next to it (and song requests in the Wedsy app). Reports of illegal content, content harmful to children, or an intimate image shared without consent hide it straight away and come to the Wedsy team, not just the couple.
  • We remove illegal content when we become aware of it.

What happens after you contact us

  • We treat reports of illegal content and content harmful to children as urgent.
  • If you report an intimate image of you (or of someone you act for), we hide it and any copies we find straight away, and remove it permanently within 48 hours unless it isn't an intimate image or the report wasn't made by or for the person pictured.
  • A member of the Wedsy team reviews every report, complaint and appeal - not only an automated system.
  • If we remove something, it is deleted for good. If we decide it isn't illegal, we put it back and the couple can still choose to remove it.
  • If you give us an email address, we'll confirm we've received it and tell you what we decided. We aim to reply to complaints and appeals within 14 days. Every confirmation email has a link to stop further emails about it.
  • If you shared something we removed, or we restricted your account, you can appeal using this form.
